Yes, It’s Personal

David A. Papa has a 20-year track record of successful advocacy under his belt. That professional success isn’t in spite of his personal approach – it’s because of it. When you experience an injury, your world gets turned upside down. Getting you the justice you deserve requires passion, tenacity, and a willingness to take your case all the way.

Family Values, World-Class Advocacy

Once you hire me to the day you settle your case I will be by your side. Available 24-7 for you and your family. I believe in honesty, loyalty, and hard work. I’m old school, which means you are being represented by an aggressive hard- core attorney who will not let you down. I will never sell your case short. David A Papa

      David A. Papa

My name is David A. Papa and I have been practicing in Florida since 2000. I believe that the most important aspect of being an attorney is to be a good person first.

My name is David A. Papa and I have been practicing in Florida since 2000. I started out handling Personal Injury Protection cases, which is basically filing a lawsuit against insurance companies when they fail to pay medical bills to physicians after automobile accidents. Within one year from starting my own practice, I opened The Law Office of Papa & Gipe, P.A. Our primary practice had been Personal Injury claims.

However, after twenty (20) years l have come to realize that I need to go into a direction that is more focused on serving my community with more personalized attention. To that end I opened Papa Injury Law in January of 2021. We have a bi-lingual office with experienced paralegals, an office manager, a receptionist, and now introducing my son David, who recently graduated law school. My goal is to demonstrate to David the most important aspect of being an attorney: to be a good person first, to treat all clients with respect and meet them face to face, and to always be honest and trustworthy. This is how I practice law and have had great client success.

We do whatever possible to be informative and compassionate while remaining objective. I have an open- door policy, meaning my clients are welcome to come to my office to sit down face to face with me whenever they feel the need. I am always on my cell phone and can be reached 24-7. Each client deserves my undivided attention and continued advice as we work together towards resolution of their claim. I also have another side to me. When it becomes necessary, I am aggressive with the insurance companies and the defense attorneys, but in a very professional manner. I achieve great results for our clients. If the insurance companies do not properly compensate our client, we will file a lawsuit and will not hesitate to go to trial if need be. Consider this fact: after two decades of practicing Personal Injury Law, I have had both defense attorneys and insurance company adjusters, whom I have battled against for years, refer their friends and family to me to handle their auto accidents. I believe this is one of the highest compliments to receive. Having my competition entrusting me with their family and friends reflects well on both my attorney and personal skills.

      David Papa Jr.

      David Joseph Papa, J.D.

My name is David J. Papa, and I am looking forward to helping people in the community and those in their most vulnerable time of need. Everyone deserves an attorney who will look out for the client’s best interest.

My name is David Joseph Papa. I am currently 36 years old and live in Dunedin, FL with my wife, Jessica, and our 8 year old son, Jude. I was born in Tampa, FL in 1985, then moved to Rhode Island for the first 9 years of my life. We moved back to Florida when I was 10 while my dad attended Stetson University in Deland. Following his graduation from undergrad, we moved to Gulfport, FL right down the street from Stetson University College of Law, where my pops completed law school and earned his J.D. degree.

I attended Azalea Middle School and, from there, moved onto Lakewood High School in St. Pete. Before my junior year in high school, I transferred to Clearwater Central Catholic High School in Clearwater. All throughout high school, I remained the starting catcher and occasional pitcher for the school’s baseball team. Right after high school, I entered St. Petersburg College, where I continued to play baseball; however, due to knee injuries, I committed to becoming a knuckleball pitcher. After graduating from SPC in 2009, I pitched for several independent professional baseball teams in Texas, Montana, New York, Maine, and New Hampshire. I was lucky enough to have been taught for several years by the late Hall of Fame knuckleballer, Phil Niekro. Also, I had the rare opportunity in 2014 to work as a knuckleball pitching coach for the minor league Phillies teaching a young prospect for several months.

From 2018 until August 20211 attended WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Riverview. Law school was a grueling 3 years, but my family and close friends were always by my side. I enjoyed the law school experience very much. I enjoyed the professors’ Socratic method of teaching, the comradery with my close study-group friends, and the mutual understanding that we were all going to help each other come out on top. During my time at Cooley Law School, I was elected as the Public Relations chair for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. I also excelled in the Melissa Mitchell Moot Court competition and was honored to be on the Moot Court Board as well as being elected as the Treasurer for the Moot Court Board in my final term. I was also on the Mock Trial Board for several semesters and took the role as the Public Outreach chair in my final term.

I have been working in the office since the beginning of 2021 as a Law Clerk and I will be taking the Florida Bar in February 2022. I’m looking forward to working alongside my dad, who I have looked up to my entire life. His lifelong guidance and my mom’s unconditional love and support have given me the ability to be the knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate person that I am today. I especially look forward to helping people in the community and those in their most vulnerable time of need.

Everyone deserves an attorney who will look out for the client’s best interest, and that is exactly what we are going to offer here at Papa Injury Law. We’re here to meet with you face to face and explain exactly what we’re going to do to help you.

As far as I can remember growing up, I've learned to give back to the community in various ways. I am overjoyed to be a member of the Papa Injury Law team and to continue serving my community through our services.

I was born and raised in Palm Harbor, FL. I was an All-Star cheerleader for 14 years, which instilled numerous values in me, including team leadership, having a strong mindset, and commitment to competition. I enjoy going bowling, mini golf, going to theme parks, and spending time with my family. I am currently at SPC about to transfer to UCF for the Kinesiology program to get my BS in Physical Therapy or as a Physicians’ Assistant. As far as I can remember growing up, I’ve learned to give back to the community in various ways, such as doing donations, volunteering, and charity work. A few years during my cheerleading career, I coached a special needs team, which consisted of all ages. Going to practice every Saturday and seeing their excitement made me eager to start their season with a handful of competitions. I am overjoyed to be a member of the Papa Injury Law team and to continue serving my community through our services.
